Fennec Shand is not exactly high on anyone’s list of Ashes of the Empire leaders, and rightly so. But with the full ASH spoilers out and the Galactic Championship still on the horizon, this is exactly the time to try out unusual things and see if we can get them to stick. So I took my “Shand Over Fist” brew to Karabast for a few games.
The idea: minimize the cost of Fennec’s ability by exhausting cheap token units (Spy and Mandalorian tokens, Peli Motto, The Master Codebreaker) to bring in surprise ready attackers like Urrr’k, Ferry Droid, and Qi’ra. Plus some fun Gambit tricks with Jump to Lightspeed and Stolen AT-Hauler.
