Welcome to the SWU Report

Here’s the Golden Company in 2019 at the AGOT US National Championship. Will’s the guy standing on the far right.
A Card Gaming Journey
The SWU Report is the passion project of Will “Kennon” Lentz, a veteran competitive card gamer with over two decades of experience in the Fantasy Flight Games community. After years of content creation and competitive play in A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Will has brought his expertise and enthusiasm to the growing Star Wars Unlimited community.
Star Wars Unlimited Will is an active member of the SWU-Tang Clan testing group and competed at the inaugural Galactic Championship in Las Vegas. After initially thinking he was done with FFG games, his testing partners convinced him to try Star Wars Unlimited – and he had to admit it’s a very good game.

What We Cover
The SWU Report focuses on helping the Star Wars Unlimited community grow through:
Community Building – Celebrating great plays, learning from mistakes, and fostering discussion
Tournament Coverage & Analysis – Deep dives into major events and their impact on the meta
Deck Building Theory – Exploring both competitive strategies and experimental builds
Meta Analysis – Understanding format shifts and emerging archetypes
Strategic Insights – The small details that can make the difference in competitive play
Our Philosophy
My approach has always been about exploring possibilities rather than just following the established meta. Whether it was my ‘All Things Shagga’ philosophy of experimental deck building or diving deep into melee player archetypes, I’ve always believed that the most interesting discoveries come from asking ‘what if?’ instead of just ‘what wins?'”
The SWU Report brings this same curiosity and willingness to explore unconventional strategies to Star Wars Unlimited, while maintaining the competitive edge that comes from decades of high-level play.
Join the Community
We’re at an exciting moment in Star Wars Unlimited’s history – the game is deep enough to reward serious study, but young enough that there’s still so much to discover. Whether you’re a longtime FFG veteran, a Star Wars fan new to competitive card gaming, or somewhere in between, our goal is simple: help our community grow stronger, smarter, and more connected.
